Emergence Code Sixteen: Creativity, the Ever-Blooming Path of the Feminine Spirit
Creativity is not perfection. It is permission. It is the call of our inner Radiance, asking to be made visible.
Invocation
For years, I suppressed my natural creativity, channeling it into everything but art. Even as an attorney, I found myself shaping words into contracts with precision, as if writing law could substitute for writing life. I sewed my own clothes, wrote stories no one ever saw, sketched fashion designs I hid away. My creativity lived in the shadows—present, but hidden.
Then 18 months ago, two dear friends heard me confess my longing: I want to pursue something artistic. They welcomed me into an art program. Since then, painting has become my passionate avocation. The more art I create, the more open and freer I feel. Joy flows in. Perfectionism falls away. If I don’t like a piece, I simply paint again—over it, or begin something new. The constant creation of colors and form delights and entrances me, and I flow with intense focus and reverie.
Creativity has become not only my freedom, but my Radiance. And I know I am not alone. I am now part of several communities who celebrate their art together–comprising thousands of women – who draw, paint and create.
We know what it feels like to dim ourselves. To silence the song in our throats. To look at a blank page and hear the critic before the first word is written. To tuck the painting in a closet because it was “not good enough.” To put off starting until the timing is perfect, until we feel worthy, until no one can laugh.
But that perfect moment never comes.
Creativity is not born from perfection. It is born from permission. Permission to be messy, to risk, to release what is inside us without apology. Creativity is not about skill—it is about Radiance. It is our inner light manifest, our imagination unchained.
The Ache We Carry
We ache because we know we are holding back. We ache because we see beauty and long to answer it. We ache because we feel the tug of Radiance inside, asking to be set free, while fear whispers: Not you. Not yet.
But repression is heavy. Procrastination becomes its own prison. Perfectionism robs us of joy. Self-judgment strangles the spark before it has a chance to flicker.
We were not born to carry these chains. We were born to create.
Creativity as Feminine Essence
The Feminine Spirit has always created. Even when silenced, she has hummed under her breath. Even when dismissed, she has dreamed in secret. Even when contorted by perfectionism, fear, and shame, she has carried the spark that refuses to die.
Creativity is our essence, our rebellion, our survival. It is the pulse that says: I am still here. I still have something to give. I will not disappear.
When we paint, when we write, when we dance, we are not only making art—we are remembering who we are.
Creativity as Rebirth
Long after our bodies stop birthing children, we keep birthing ourselves. Creativity is the heroine’s journey of the Feminine Spirit. Each poem, each brushstroke, each dance is another labor, another delivery. We do not stop blooming because our roles change. We bloom again—wilder, freer, fiercer.
Creativity is the rebirth of the Feminine Soul. It is how we become again and again, unapologetically. It is not a hobby. It is survival. Finally, it is liberation.
Creativity as Feminine Freedom
Creativity is how we unhook from what drains us. It is how we shake loose from the lies that told us we weren’t enough. It is how we rebel against perfectionism and fear.
Every time we make something—whether or not it is beautiful by anyone else’s standards—we take our power back. We prove to ourselves that Radiance is not out there waiting for permission. It is in here, waiting for release.
Our creations are not meant to be perfect. They are meant to be free. And in their freedom, so are we.
The Crone as Creative Oracle
The elder years are not the end of creativity. They are its wild expansion following a vibrant beckoning roar of an announcing horn. She says, “I am here and ready to self-express, to give in a new way, and to show you who I really am. Behold my true Radiance!” The Crone does not create to prove anything—she creates because she has nothing left to withhold. Her creativity is fierce and unfiltered. She paints with her scars, writes with her laughter and grief, and sings with her survival. She knows that Radiance only grows stronger with age.
Her art is her freedom. Her Radiance is her defiance. She is living proof that creativity never retires, but reblooms and re-fires itself, over and over again.
Creativity as Community
We are not meant to do this alone. Our creativity is not just for us—it is for each other. When we gather in circles to paint, write, sing, or share, we give one another permission. We remind each other that our Radiance matters.
One woman’s courage to create awakens another’s. Together, our sparks build a fire. And around that fire, we remember: this is who we are. We are creators. We are Radiance in motion.
Ritual: Answering the Call
Take a blank page, a canvas, an open space. Place your hand on your heart and ask: What is asking to come through me today? Do not wait. Do not polish. Do not perfect. Let it spill. Let it be raw. Let it be real.
This is not about showing anyone. This is about answering your own soul. This is about making Radiance visible.
Affirmations for Creative Radiance
My Radiance expands when I create without apology.
My art is not about perfection—it is about freedom.
I give myself permission to begin, imperfectly.
Creativity is my rebirth, my rebellion, my Radiance.
I am not here to withhold. I am here to bloom.
Closing Benediction
Creativity is the callout of the Soul, the demand of our inner Radiance to be made manifest. It is not for later. It is not for when we feel ready. It is for now.
We do not need to be perfect. We only need to be willing. Willing to pick up the brush, Write the Word, Sing the Song, Move the Body, Speak the Truth. At last.
This is our call. Our Radiance depends on it. And the world is waiting.
Let’s Create in Flow Together….
Love, Angelique
