Shift from Fixing Yourself to Feeling Yourself
Radiance Code 7: I Cultivate my Inner State as the Wellspring of my Outer Life
A Different Way to Begin the Year
As the year turns, I notice how quickly the familiar impulse arises—to make lists, set goals, correct course.
Eat better. Move more. Be more focused, more disciplined, more together.
I understand the appeal. I’ve made those lists myself—many times. They offer a sense of control, a promise that if we just get our lives organized enough, something inside us will finally settle.
But lately, I’ve been feeling into a different, more essential question—one that doesn’t begin with fixing:
How do I ignite my inner and outer radiance?
How do I raise my energy—my vitality, my emotional tone, the quality of my consciousness—as I move through my days?
Who am I becoming, not in theory, but in lived experience?
When Growth Quietly Becomes Self-Correction
Much of resolution culture, however well-intended, carries a subtle undertone:
You are not quite right yet. You have to fix what’s wrong about you, your life and your circumstances.
It trains our attention on what’s lacking, what needs improvement, what must be disciplined into shape. And for many women—especially those who are already thoughtful, responsible, and deeply self-aware—this approach can quietly reinforce a sense of insufficiency.
Not because we aren’t growing - but because we’re growing from the wrong starting point.
We don’t need more evidence of our imperfections.
We need deeper contact with what’s already luminous within us.
Fulfillment Is Not a Reward—It’s a Compass
Inner fulfillment isn’t something earned after everything else is handled. It’s information.

Feeling grounded, curious, spacious, creative, or connected tells you something essential about whether your life is aligned.
Aliveness isn’t loud or dramatic. Often, it feels like:
A quiet sense of rightness
A return of creative energy
A deeper presence in ordinary moments
This is the soil from which meaningful goals grow.
A Shift I’m Practicing: From Doing to Being (and Feeling)
What I’m experimenting with now is simpler—and more radical.
Instead of beginning the year by asking what should I do differently? I’m starting with who am I learning to be—and how do I want to feel while I’m becoming her?
What states of being elevate me?
What inner conditions support clarity, creativity, steadiness, joy?
What choices raise my energy rather than fragment it?
Because I’ve noticed something essential:
Our outer lives tend to organize themselves around our inner state.
When my energy is clear, my decisions follow. When my consciousness is constricted, no amount of goal-setting can compensate.
Radiance as a Practice, Not a Personality Trait
Radiance isn’t something you either have or don’t have.
It’s cultivated.
It emerges when our nervous system feels safe, when our values are lived rather than performed, when our inner world is coherent enough to support outward expression.
Often, radiance doesn’t announce itself dramatically.
It shows up quietly:
As ease in the body
As emotional spaciousness
As a renewed sense of meaning or creative flow
These aren’t indulgences. They are indicators of alignment.
Radiance Code 7: I Cultivate my Inner State as the Wellspring of my Outer Life
A Different Starting Point for the Year Ahead
So rather than beginning with resolutions that imply correction, I’m beginning with attunement.
I’m asking:
What raises my energy—and what subtly depletes it?
What qualities of consciousness feel ready to come online now?
What would it mean to move through this year with greater internal coherence and self-trust?
From this place, goals don’t disappear—but they soften and reorganize.
Instead, they become expressions of inner alignment rather than attempts at self-repair.
The Invitation I’m Holding
This year doesn’t need a perfected version of you.
It needs your radiance—cultivated from the inside out.
Your sensitivity. Your discernment. Your willingness to choose what elevates your energy and expands your awareness.
When we shift from fixing ourselves to consciously tending our inner state, growth becomes less forceful and more luminous. It’s less about control—and more about coherence.
And in my experience, that’s how both inner fulfillment and meaningful outer change truly unfold.
To encourage you, I share my own Compass for the new year.
